Early this month, while the Buffalo Bills were settling into mandatory minicamp, there were alarming rumors circulating regarding a wide receiving injury that wide receiver Khalil Shakir had suffered on practice’s first day.

Buffalo Bills insider reveals All-Pro's likelihood of 2024 return
Beyond the injury that seemed to damage his lower left leg, not much was known. The most significant piece of information was the compression sleeve he was seen wearing in the days that followed, which included his presence on the sidelines the day after the injury.

Now, less than two weeks after the original injury, Shakir seems to be recovering nicely while working out with Eric Moulds, the legendary Bills player, and his company, Optimal Athletic Training. Shakir started working out with Moulds during the previous offseason, and it seems like their relationship is getting stronger as they work together to give Shakir the best possible on-field effect as he enters his third season with Buffalo.

The good news from Banged Up Bills is welcome news for a squad that will undoubtedly be turning to Shakir for a replacement for Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.

In order to give fans a better understanding of Khalil Shakir both on and off the field, the Bills have devoted a large amount of their offseason to showcasing him. This includes his collaboration with Moulds, one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play for the Buffalo Bills. Teddy Bruschi does, in fact, recall Eric Moulds.
